Monica Sanchez-Diu, DMD Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Monica Sanchez-Diu was born in Miami, Florida and raised in San Juan, PR. She completed her undergraduate studies with a major in Biology and a minor in Biomedical Sciences. She attended Dental School at the University of Puerto Rico – Medical Science Campus, where she received her DMD.
She went on to complete her General Residency Program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. She stayed an additional year as Chief Resident, guiding and managing newly graduated general dentists, for which she received an Outstanding Leadership Award. After working as general dentist for a few years, she returned to Bronx Lebanon Hospital and received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in June 2013. Her education included advanced studies and specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents, special needs and medically compromised patients.
Dr. Sanchez-Diu moved back to Florida after completing her training. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
